How does an allergist diagnose for Pigeon Allergy?
An allergist can diagnose patients with pigeon allergy after careful observation of the patient’s signs and symptoms. Further laboratory tests can be done to check the relationship of the symptoms to the said disease. If for instance, the allergist has suspicion that it is indeed Pigeon Allergy; a Pulmonary Function Test, Inhalation Challenge, Lung Biopsy and Morphology can be done for verification.
